A former nine-acre gasworks site in York, now derelict, is anticipated to undergo a £200 million Gross Development Value, (GDV), transformation to a 700-dwelling neighbourhood.
To construct the scheme, North Star have partnered with private rental housing operator Moda Living and its joint venture partner Apache Capital Partners.
The brownfield site has been vacant for 10 years and is anticipated to be transformed into a new residential community, with retail space and community use, (subject to planning consent).
By adding public realm, new pedestrian links and cycle links, the masterplan aims to re-join the already surrounding neighbourhoods
