As Office Manager of a small but busy team, I enjoy a really varied role. As well as being the administrator for the business, all new enquiries come through to me in the first instance.

I enjoy the variety of work, such as researching content for our blogs and social media, and the client relationships I am involved with. We’re a small team servicing a great number of clients and it gives me real satisfaction to be part of our customer service delivery.

When I am not in the office…

I have inherited my father’s sporting passions in polo and skiing and much of my spare time and holidays are absorbed by these two sports.

I have real aspirations to travel the world too, so when and where I can, I try to visit one new place every year. This target has led me on many an adventure and I am always thinking about and planning the next one!

Part of the team since 2012, I am an Associate Director here and am also responsible for the report writing and sales. My role gives me a great perspective on what our clients need and ensuring DevAssist continues to exceed their expectations.

My academic background including a Masters in Building Surveying really inspired my career choices and led me to DevAssist, having learnt about the industry working for a residential developer after graduating. The experience taught me about the many intricacies involved in purchasing land for development which has stood me in great stead to advise and liaise with our clients.

When I am not in the office…

Mountain biking is my real passion and has inspired me to travel the world off the beaten track.

It was my experience as a property developer which led me to establishing DevAssist. I could see the absolute need for a quick, comprehensive and affordable way for buyers at all levels had a way of identifying and assessing development risk.

Prior to DevAssist, I was involved in the residential housing industry for over 25 years. This involved the formation of three highly successful companies, and the development of several innovative housing developments. My only regret in this period is that I did not have a DevAssist report to identify development risk and potential for me! Those significant investments in time and resource were made based largely on instinct and the basic conveyancing information widely available. It inspired me to rethink how we all invest in properties, and that a better level of insight should be accessible to everyone, regardless of property location or value.

DevAssist was the result of this experience and perspective I had gained and I continue to be proud of the insight me and my team have made available to thousands of buyers and investors since our inception.

When I am not in the office…

I love the great outdoors and being active. Two of my biggest passions are polo and skiing which I have enjoyed with my family for many years. I have two retired polo ponies at home still but they’re really companions these days and much less full throttle round a polo pitch! I discovered polo whilst on holiday 11 years ago, and whilst I don’t have much time to partake, I am hooked on the sport and it has been a fantastic family activity to get into together. In between work, skiing and riding, our lovely rescue dog Derek keeps us busy too. He is the office intern but has a questionable work ethic!
